Home Economics Club

Home Economics Club is a very popular club in our school. Every year, there are always about a hundred applications from students who wish to join the club, which capacity is 30 because of limited working space. Senior form students are given priority because they are capable of practising more complicated cooking skills, like vegetable carving, flower arrangement, etc. The most popular items students enjoy cooking are: pizza, microwave cooking, Chinese dim sums such as fried meat dumplings and fried sugar puffs.

Meetings are held every alternate Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Demonstrations are usually given by the club adviser Mrs. J. Ho, and students will then work together in groups to produce the dishes. Students can then taste the 'food' of their co-operation. The enthusiastic support from students and the enjoyable atmosphere are what make our meetings delightful.
